Digital Desk: In an astounding incident, a Bihar based electrician turned down the power supply to meet his girlfriend in the dark, however, the man had to marry her for any unwanted incident of being caught by villagers. The case happens to be a bizarre love story of what can be called a ‘power couple’.
Though it seems too hard to absorb, the incident is a real-life story. Frequent power cuts marred Ganeshpur village in Purnia district was having power cuts again and again for quite some time before villagers understood that neighbouring villages did not have any disruption.
After thoroughly examining the case, villagers were disgusted to find that the electrician had been cutting the power supply to meet his girlfriend in darkness, the Tribune reported.
The man later tied the knot with the lover in the presence of the Sarpanch and other village council members hoping to not face further electricity shortages.
