Digital Desk: The World's richest man and the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk said on Saturday that he will be visiting India later this year. He also expressed his appreciation for speaking with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

His announcement comes a day after his teleconference with PM Modi on Friday. During their talk, they discussed the enormous potential for association in various areas including technology, innovation, space, and mobility.

Elon Musk in a post on X said that it was an honor for him to speak with PM Modi. He added that he is looking forward to visiting India later this year.

Taking to X, PM Modi on Friday also said that he discussed various issues with Musk including the topics they covered during their last meeting in Washington DC in February, 2025.

PM Modi further said that India will remain committed to advancing partnerships with the US in areas like technology and innovation.

During their last meeting, PM Modi and Elon Musk discussed about boosting corporation between the two countries in various sectors including innovation, space exploration, artificial intelligence (AI), and sustainable development.

Elon Musk-owned Starlink has partnered with private telecom giants of India, Reliance Jio and Airtel to launch satellite internet services in the country. This partnership will expand high-speed internet services, particularly in rural and remote areas of India.
