Digital Desk: Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, reportedly spent an astounding $78 million on a brand-new, luxurious private plane for himself (Rs 643 crore). The wealthiest individual in the world is rumoured to have ordered a Gulfstream G700, according to the news website Austonia.

By the end of the next year, the purportedly largest private aeroplane in history is expected to arrive. This brand-new aeroplane can carry 19 passengers and fly at a height of 51,000 feet. The G700 jet, which is reported to be powered by two Rolls-Royce engines, has a range of up to 7,500 nautical miles between refuelling stops. The plane includes two restrooms, 20 oval windows, and its own Wi-Fi network.

Musk's existing G650ER is expected to be replaced with the new plane. A Dassault 900B is the first of the Tesla CEO's four private planes. All of his planes are registered to the Falcon Landing LLC, a fictional organisation associated with SpaceX.

His present company, a micro blogging platform, is undergoing a restructure at the same time as Musk's most recent acquisition. Twitter will notify every employee by internal email by tonight as to whether they have been retained or fired. It will close all of the offices and prevent staff employees from access.

We will start the difficult process of reducing our global staff on Friday in an effort to put Twitter on a healthy path, according to the twitter officials.

Musk plans to fire up to 4,000 employees in an effort to cut expenses and enforce a new work ethic. According to the twitter officials , offices will be temporarily shuttered and all badge access will be suspended in order to safeguard each employee, Twitter systems, and user data.
