Digital Desk: Netflix has unveiled the first look of the much-awaited fifth season of its romantic drama series Emily in Paris starring Lily Collins. Set to premiere on December 18, 2025, the upcoming season takes Emily Cooper on a new journey , this time to Italy.
After four seasons of navigating love and career in Paris, Emily is now seen embracing “la dolce vita” as she explores new personal and professional adventures across Italy. On 20th August , Netflix uploaded a series of first-look images, giving the fans a sneak peek. In one breath-taking off shot, Emily is pictured in a chic bikini as she sunbathes on a boat in Rome, coated in a black and white polka-dot suit, joined with matching sunglasses.
In another photograph, she is pictured with new boy Marcello (played by Eugenio Franceschini) grasping reins of a horse and people have wondered whether that means a new romance on the cards.
Emily is currently a Head of the new office of the Amusements (Agence ) Grateau in Rome, in the headship of Sylvie Grateau (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu). The show will further delve into the fashion, relations and career issues of Emily but in new location attributable to the Italian cities of romance such as Rome and Venice.
Produced by Darren Star, the cast of Emily in Paris has a returning cast, which includes Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu.
Sharing the update on social media, Netflix wrote: “Benvenuto! The first look images from Emily in Paris are here, and they’re serving up a slice of la dolce vita! Season 5 returns on 18th December'.
