Digital Desk: Netflix has announced its upcoming crime caper Inspector Zende, starring powerhouse actors Manoj Bajpayee and Jim Sarbh. Set to premiere on 5th September, the movie will reveal the film inspired by the events which is mixed of thrilling story set in rough underbelly of Mumbai in the 70s and 80s.
Written and Directed by Chinmay D Mandlekar, Inspector Zende is a supercharged pursuit of a ruthless investigator (played by Bajpayee) against a notorious serial killer called the Swimsuit Killer who escapes the Tihar Jail in New Delhi. When the killer turned out to be a statewide man-hunt, loosely inspired by the real-life criminal Charles Sobhraj, also known as the Bikini Killer.
