Digital Desk: Netflix has announced its upcoming crime caper Inspector Zende, starring powerhouse actors Manoj Bajpayee and Jim Sarbh. Set to premiere on 5th September, the movie will reveal the film inspired by the events which is mixed of  thrilling story set in rough underbelly of Mumbai in the 70s and 80s.

Written and Directed by Chinmay D Mandlekar, Inspector Zende is a supercharged pursuit of a ruthless investigator (played by Bajpayee) against a notorious serial killer called the Swimsuit Killer who escapes the Tihar Jail in New Delhi. When the killer turned out to be a statewide man-hunt, loosely inspired by the real-life criminal Charles Sobhraj, also known as the Bikini Killer.

Netflix shared a quirky poster to unveil the film, teasing a retro-styled investigation through the narrow lanes of old Bombay. The story unfolds as a cat-and-mouse thriller, highlighting the grit, strategy, and unyielding spirit of a police officer determined to bring a ruthless fugitive to justice.

Jim Sarbh, known for his intense performances, joins Bajpayee to add more intrigue to this crime thriller. Daring prison escapes to down-and-dirty fugitive rescues, Inspector Zende enters a lurid world of law and pretense.

The nostalgic backdrop and the high stakes chase present the film as an anticipated must watch movie by crime drama fans when it airs exclusively through Netflix this September.
