Digital Desk: Today, at the celebration of Republic Day, District General of Police (DGP) GP Singh shared moving words with the people of Assam .Looking back Indian Police Service (IPS) officer GP Singh remembered the moment he attended the Khanapara Republic Day parades of 2000 which holds a special place in his heart.

After dedicating 24 years to Assam law enforcement Singh moves forward toward a different career path. Through his last remarks he expressed great appreciation to the Assam Police organization along with all residents of the state for their beneficial assistance and teamwork. His speech became quiet while tears welled up because the strong feelings from his interactions over years of service took over.

At the end of his speech, Singh expressed his lack of words to fully convey his emotions as he bid farewell to the state and the people who had been a significant part of his remarkable journey.
