Dhubri: In an unprecedented incident, women patients at Dhubri Civil Hospital have reportedly fallen ill after being administered alleged expired saline by the hospital staff.
When the incident came to light, the patient’s relatives enrage by the incident.
A patient admitted to the Dhubri Civil hospital claimed that hospital staff administered her expired saline.
Soon after, the hospital authority send a team of doctors to the women’s section of the hospital and tried to conceal the matter; however, the public enrages by the negligence of the hospital staff informed the media persons.
Meanwhile, the locals demanded to conduct an inquiry by the Dhubri District Administration about administering expired saline to the women patients and take strict action against the culprits.
