Golaghat: Assam Police and CRPF are jointly carrying out ‘area domination’ in Golaghat district’s Bokakhat sub-division amid a continued spike in the number of covid-19 cases.
The ‘area domination’ by Assam Police and CRPF is being carried out to instill a sense of security among the locals of Golaghat sub-division amid the pandemic on the directions of the state government.
According to the SP, this area domination has been necessitated by the rising COVID-19 curve in the Upper Assam district.
Golaghat — along with six other districts– is currently under ‘total containment’ due to a steep rise in COVID-19 infections.
