Guwahati: Fake Indian currency note worth Rs. 12.5 lakh were seized from a person by Assam police in Jorabat.
According to Assam Police, a person named Abdul Rezaque age 37 years of district Lakhimpur was detained yesterday while carrying the notes from Nagaon to Guwahati.
Later, the Assam police recovered the fake currency from the convict.
