Despite the fact that the vehicle was completely destroyed, the driver and his family members had a narrow escape and were not injured.

Digital Desk: On Saturday afternoon, occupants of a Scorpio car had a miraculous escape after the vehicle they were driving in caught fire at Mankata village in the Dibrugarh district due to a technical defect.

The event occurred as the family was driving towards the Phulbagan neighbourhood of Dibrugarh.

Despite the fact that the vehicle was completely destroyed, the driver and his family members had a narrow escape and were not injured.

Dibrugarh Fire personnel went to the scene after receiving the information and effectively extinguished the fire. Local traffic officers later arrived on the site to assess the issue.

Mechanical or electrical issues in vehicles typically occur when the electrical wiring system is tampered with to accommodate additional accessories. Mechanical flaws such as oil or gasoline leaks, engine overheating, and high pressure at vulnerable components can all contribute to a fire.

Earlier this month, a driver narrowly avoided being killed when his moving vehicle caught fire on the outskirts of Guwahati.

The incident occurred in the Jagiroad neighbourhood of Amlighat.

According to sources, the car caught fire due to a short circuit that happened in the middle of the trip.
