Digital Desk: Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin expressed regret when a photo of two topless ladies kissing at her vacation residence was posted on social media.  

The image shows two young women kissing while removing their shirts, with a "Finland" sign covering their breasts. Marin is not seen in the image.

Reportedly, the picture was taken in the bathtub of the prime minister's lavish 1873 villa.

"I apologize for the inappropriate photo. A picture like that shouldn't have been taken," Marin said of the incident, according to Finnish broadcaster YLE. According to Finnish media, she talked with a cracked voice and red eyes.

"We were using the sauna facilities and the garden area, but we did not spend time inside the Kesäranta residence, although the downstairs guest restrooms were in use," 

Clips of Marin, 36, partying with Finnish celebrities exploded on social media following last week's leaks. Following the event, critics asked her to take a drug test, which she did.

Marin stated that she took the test on Friday and that the results were negative on Monday, just as new video of her dancing with a man who is not her husband surfaced.

Supporters suggest that Marin's numerous parties with celebrities bring youth and a cool vibe to the workplace, while critics argue that the exposure to the public and lack of professionalism are inappropriate for a leader of the free world.

Marin is the youngest head of state in the world. Her nightlife activities last made headlines when she appeared at a Finnish nightclub after being exposed to someone who tested positive for Covid-19.

Marin claims that neither she nor anybody else at the party was under the influence of narcotics.
