Ramdev claimed on Thursday that Muslims engage in terrorism and criminal activity because they think that praying the namaz will forgive them  for all of their sins.

Digital Desk: A day after a video of Yoga guru Ramdev giving hate speech against Muslims and Christians went viral, the Rajasthan police filed an FIR against him.

According to the news agency PTI, which cited the police, the FIR was filed at Chauhatan police station as a result of a complaint made by a local resident.

Ramdev said on Thursday that Muslims commit crimes and commit terrorism because they believe that praying the namaaz will forgive them for all of their sins.

According to Parhai Chauhatan police station SHO Bhutaram, the case was registered under IPC sections 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence), 295A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) and 298 (uttering, words, etc., with deliberate intent to wound the religious feelings of any person).

"If you ask a Muslim what their religion teaches, they will tell you that you should read the namaaz five times a day and then do whatever comes to mind.

The saffron guy was present at a seers' gathering at Barmer.

"Because that's what they've been instructed to do...just pray, do anything else you want to... Many of them turned into criminals and some of them became terrorists," Ramdev stated.

Ramdev also mentioned Christians in his remarks.

In the video, Ramdev stated that "the main goal of both Islam and Christianity was to convert people to their religions."

"I don't mean to criticise anyone, but some people are obsessed with converting the entire world to Christianity or Islam," he added.
