Digital Desk: Recently, at the Lala police station in the Hailakandi district, one of the general secretaries of the Raijor Dal central committee, Jahir Uddin Laskar, filed an FIR against Katlicherra MLA Suzam Uddin Laskar.
Reportedly, Jahir Uddin claimed in the FIR that Suzam Uddin Laskar, an AIUDF MLA from Katlicherra, had made extremely unparliamentary remarks about him and his father and that the same audio clips had gone viral on various social media platforms. He asserted that it is unconstitutional for an elected official to utter such slanderous comments.
MLA Jahir Uddin Laskar has been condemning the Katlicherra MLA's corruption and scam, as well as the plot to relocate the Model Degree College in South Hailakandi.
Meanwhile, J Wary, the circle inspector of Lala police station, stated that they have begun an investigation after receiving the FIR against the MLA and that a case will be filed as per the procedure.
