Kabul: In the ongoing Afghan crisis, a firefight broke out between unidentified gunmen, Western Forces, and Afghan security guards at the Kabul airport, on Monday, which led to a death of a security officer, and three others severely injured.
The German Military tweeted that one Afghan guard got killed and three others got injured in the battle, which also involved the US and German forces, but without specifying whether the dead Afghan was one of the Taliban fighters deployed to guard the airport.
Since the Taliban took over the Afghan capital Kabul on August 15, there has been chaos at the Kabul Airport as the UK and international forces try to evacuate citizens and vulnerable Afghans.
