The mortal remains of the former minister will be transported from Guwahati to Rangia, where various political parties and organizations are scheduled to pay their respects.

Digital Desk: Former Education Minister Thaneswar Boro passed away at the age of 85 on Friday. Boro, who had been receiving treatment in the ICU of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), was battling complications associated with a long-standing heart ailment.

Survived by his only daughter, Boro had a distinguished career that included serving as the Education Minister during the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) government and holding the position of former President of the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP).

The mortal remains of the former minister will be transported from Guwahati to Rangia, where various political parties and organizations are scheduled to pay their respects.
