Guwahati: The state government laid down the foundation stone for two-lane flyover at Sarab Bhatti, Guwahati to ease traffic congestion at the area. Sarab Bhatti area has for long facing massive traffic congestion at peak hours, causing mass trouble for commuters.

The two lane flyover at Sarab Bhatti will be 790 meter long in length which will be built at a total cost of Rs 149.07 crores.

The state government has been launching various developmental as well as laying foundation stones for various projects. Recently the state BJP ruled government inaugurated three divyang friendly foot-over bridges in Guwahati.
