They had been operating an illicit ganja trade in Guwahati for the previous three months...

Digital Desk: As many as three youths were arrested by the Guwahati Police on Friday and recovered a huge quantity of ganja from their possession, reports stated.

The city police reportedly carried out an operation at House No. 34 in Hatigaon's Puberun Path earlier in the day after receiving specific inputs.

The three youths were caught during the raids, and multiple ganja packets were seized. The arrestees have been identified as Altaf Hussain, Sadik Ul Haque, and Halif Afridi.
 
According to reports, they had been operating an illicit ganja trade in Guwahati for the previous three months. 

Additionally, Sadik Ul Haque had taken a room for rent along with one of his banker friends named Irshad. Sadik, though, was engaged in the illicit business. 

Meanwhile, the police have initiated a case and are currently interrogating the three youths under their custody.
