A senior official of Guwahati Police said that the security personnel immediately rushed to the high court following the threat email. After an intense search operation in every corner of the court, the security personnel traced nothing.  

Digital Desk: The Gauhati High Court on Tuesday, April 22, received a bomb threat via email from an anonymous account, causing panic among the Guwahati Police.

A senior official of Guwahati Police said that the security personnel immediately rushed to the high court following the threat email. After an intense search operation in every corner of the court, the security personnel traced nothing. 
 
It was a bomb hoax, senior police officer added.

Meanwhile, security has been tightened in the court premises.

An official of the Gauhati High Court said the email was sent by an organisation named 'Madras Tigers'. The unknown organisation threatened to blow up the high court building via an email.
