This prestigious achievement underscores the university's commitment to academic excellence and institutional quality.

Gauhati University received a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) ranging from 3.26 to 3.50, positioning it among the top institutions in the country. The assessment reflects positively on the university's overall performance, marking a significant milestone in its journey towards continuous improvement and educational leadership in the region.




A statement from GU mentioned, "Gauhati University proudly announces that in the 4th Cycle of Assessment and Accreditation NAAC has awarded A+ Grade to the University. This is announced and communicated by the NAAC moments before."
