Digital Desk: Multinational technology company Google informed its employees that they would lose their salary as well as their respective jobs if they did not follow the covid-19 vaccination rules, a media report said.

Reportedly, the company has given a deadline to the employees till January 18, 2022, to avoid all the consequences.

The decision comes after other multinational companies are rescheduling the employee’s returns to offices due to the rise in Omicron cases in the world.

The company, in its memo, stated that after the fulfillment of the deadline, it would start contacting the employees who didn’t follow the rules.

The memo stated, “The employees who fail to comply with the company’s vaccination rules by January 18, 2022, will be placed on ‘paid administrative leave for a month and later put them on ‘unpaid personal leave’ for six months, after it failed to do so they will be terminated.”
