A senior official of RTO said that the entire series was restricted after the matter came to light.

"It's regrettable that people can be so mean and bad that the girl has to suffer so much harassment. I have given four days to the Transport Department to settle this matter so that the girl doesn't suffer anymore," said DCW chief Swati Maliwal.

In response, the RTO official stated, "The registration number was system-generated. The complete series was stopped after the matter came to the department's notice. Others who have additionally got the same registration numbers in this group can modify it on a case-to-case basis if requested."
