For over three decades, Ganesh had been living and working in Along, Arunachal Pradesh, unable to find out how to reach his loved ones.
The breakthrough came when Dipankar Hazarika, a young man from Narayanpur, met Ganesh while working in the state. Dipankar discovered a voter ID card that identified Ganesh as an original resident of Assam.
Dipankar shared the information on Facebook and collaborated with another man, Kalpajyoti Bania, to search Ganesh's family in Assam. Their efforts ultimately led to the discovery of his residence in Gopalpur, Gohpur.
Dipankar's determination helped to bring Ganesh back from Arunachal Pradesh and reunite him with his long-lost family. The emotional reunion moved everyone's hearts, and Dipankar's extraordinary efforts have been widely appreciated in the community.
