Digital Desk: In a shocking incident from Bilasipara, Assam, a young woman has alleged that she became four months pregnant after being raped by two friends.
Based on the complaint, police arrested the men, identified as Safiar Rahman and Anowar Hussain, and sent them to jail.
As per the complaint, Safiar Rahman, a young man from Suapata village, visited the young woman's residence for dinner along with his friend, Anowar Hussain.
Subsequently, the victim became involved in a romantic relationship with Anowar. Taking advantage of the romantic relationship, Safiar and Anower allegedly assaulted the young woman.
After the assault, both accused avoided the young woman. Overwhelmed by fear and shame, she remained silent for a long time.
Later, when the woman discovered that she was four months pregnant, she tried to reach out to Anowar, but she did not receive any response.
With no other options left, the woman filed an FIR at the Bilasipara police station.
Acting promptly on the complaint, Safiar Rahman and his friend Anowar Hussain were taken into custody by the police.
