Digital Desk: In a significant crackdown on corruption, the Vigilance & Anti Corruption Cell conducted a raid on the residence of Golakganj Block Education Officer, Naba Krishna Roy, in Dhubri. The raid, which took place on Tuesday, resulted in the arrest of both Naba Krishna Roy and his assistant, Debendra Nath Brahma, on charges of corruption.

Reports indicate that the anti-corruption officers caught Naba's assistant red-handed, accepting a bribe of 3,000 rupees from a teacher in exchange for a 'Service Book' during the raid. Following this, the officials extended their investigation to Naba Krishna's rented house located at Rabindra Nagar in Kokrajhar town.

The investigation into the matter is ongoing, and further details are expected to emerge as authorities delve deeper into the case.
