Digital Desk: The Barsapara cricket stadium will host a One Day International between India and Sri Lanka in January 2023, etching Guwahati's name in history.
The match has been scheduled for January 10, 2023.
The Sri Lankan cricket team will visit India in January of the next year. A team from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will fly to Guwahati to inspect the stadium in this regard.
Following the inspection by the BCCI, it will be decided whether Barsapara Stadium is regarded as suitable to host an ODI match or not. The BCCI officials are expected to arrive on January 1 for the inspection.
The Stadium's team started making preparations to get the field ready for the match.
