Digital Desk: The Election Commission announced the schedule for Gujarat's assembly elections on Thursday. On December 1, the state will hold elections in the region where the BJP is currently in power.


Gujarat will have its assembly elections in two phases. Vote counting will take place on December 8.


The first round of voting will occur on December 1, and the second round will be held on December 5.


Gujarat's Legislative Assembly has 182 members. This election will feature a three-way fight between the BJP, which is currently in power, the Congress, and the Aam Aadmi Party.
