Sunday, the recovery of a student's body in Guwahati's Pandu neighbourhood sent
shockwaves across the community. According to initial accounts, the event
occurred at a Paying Guest (PG) in Pandu's College Gate area.
The body was discovered
hanging, therefore it appeared to be a suicide. However, more inquiries into
the situation have begun.
The body was retrieved by
local police who arrived on the site. It was sent for a post-mortem, and the
results are still pending.
According to the information received, the girl was a second-semester student at Pandu College.
The reason for the drastic
