The accused, identified as Javed Ali, allegedly tried to kidnap a child in front of the mother at the premises of Dispur Polyclinic.
The hospital security guard intervened and acted swiftly, apprehending Javed Ali, a resident of Hojai. The guard detained the accused for nearly an hour before handing him over to the police.
