Digital Desk: In a shocking incident, a newborn baby was brutally murdered on the ninth line of the Borgaon Tea Estate in Behali. It is alleged that the baby was killed by its own mother right after birth. The accused was identified as Rupali Gowala (21).
According to allegations, Kiran Gowala, Rupali's 25-year-old brother, played a key role in the crime and wrapped the infant in a gamusa.
He allegedly buried the body in a pit behind their home within the Borgaon Tea Estate.
When the incident came to light, the Borgaon police, along with the magistrate, conducted an investigation and recovered the newborn's body.
Both Rupali Gowala and Kiran Gowala were arrested after the body of the newborn was discovered.
An investigation is underway to find out more details.
