Security personnel are stationed on-site, and the area is cordoned off with traffic cones...

Digital Desk: The City Centre shopping mall in Guwahati has suddenly closed, with management mentioning a "technical issue" while unconfirmed reports of a bomb threat circulate.

However, unconfirmed reports suggest a possible bomb threat. A sign at the mall entrance states: "FOR TECHNICAL ISSUE MALL WILL BE SHUT DOWN FOR 2 HOURS."

Security personnel are stationed on-site, and the area is cordoned off with traffic cones. While official statements mention only a technical problem, local reports hint at a potential security threat.

Moreover, PVR's screenings have also been canceled after the bomb's suspicion.

Fire services and a sniffer dog squad have been deployed to the scene. The mall has been evacuated, and authorities have confirmed a two-hour closure.
