Digital Desk: In a shocking incident, an old-age woman was allegedly subjected to severe physical and mental torture by her son, leaving the community of Guwahati City in shock.
The woman was subjected to horrific acts of cruelty by her son, including being brutally beaten with a stick and being poured boiling water over her fragile body.
The accused has been identified as one Samajyoti Bharali.
According to reports, the elderly woman was also tied to the porch and was forced to stay in the scorching sun.
Notably, the inhumane incident occurred near to the District Commissioner's Office in Hengerabari.
The reason behind these horrible deeds is still unknown. Moreover, the accused has not been arrested at the time of filing this report.
