Digital Desk: In a gruesome incident, a man brutally killed his wife and surrendered to the police at Ulubari, Guwahati on Sunday. The murderer, identified as Rubul Sharma, originally from Nalbari, confessed the crime that he killed her over a family dispute. The victim, identified as Shreya Bhattacharya, was originally from Meghalaya and a student at Arya Vidyapeeth College. The couple had a two-year-old daughter.
The police recovered the body of Shreya Bhattacharya and sent it to the Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) for post-mortem.
