Tharoor went to Rajiv Bhawan with Pradyut Bordoloi, according to reports.
Digital Desk: Congress politician Shashi Tharoor arrived in Guwahati on Saturday to campaign for the party's presidential election.
According to accounts, he was taken to Rajiv Bhawan by Pradyut Bordoloi.
However, Bhupen Borah of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) and many other politicians were not present to greet Tharoor at the airport.
Mallikarjun Kharge also visited Guwahati for election campaigning a few days back.
It should be noted that the Congress Presidential Election will take place on October 17.
Shashi Tharoor and Mallikarjun Kharge have both filed for election.
