Digital Desk: A shocking incident took place in Lalganesh, Guwahati, where a minor was brutally assaulted on a playground during a game.
Nishan Kakoti, a student of National Public School, Udalbakra, suffered severe injuries after being attacked by a group of 10-15 others on the field.
The victim had been admitted to the hospital for treatment, while the family demanded immediate arrest and strict punishment of the perpetrators.
Two students of the same school have been apprehended by the police in connection with the incident.
As per their statements, the assault stemmed from a school dispute between two groups. Two groups of students from Class 8 and 9 at National Public School, Udalbakra, were involved in the conflict.
Despite the mediation from the school authorities to resolve the issue, a violent clash erupted on the playground between the two groups, leading to the brutal assault of a student.
The apprehended students disclosed details of the incident during police questioning.
