Digital desk: A devastating incident struck in Guwahati, Barpeta Road on Friday, where three teenagers, Shahjahan Ali (15), Asma Khatun (11), and Jasmine Parbin (15), tragically lost their lives when a speeding truck struck the scooty they were riding. The heart-wrenching incident occurred at Jamtal on Barpeta Road.
The teenagers, all belonging to the same family of Satvani Tup village at Barpeta road bought the scooty on Friday. While riding their new scooty amidst the chaos and devastation. However, one child luckily escaped and currently undergoing treatment at Barpeta Road Hospital.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident unfolded suddenly. As investigations into the accident commence, questions arise about road safety measures and the need for stricter enforcement to prevent such incidents in the future.
