Because the description is in Urdu, the news reporter could be heard asking Haldiram's store manager if the Falhari Mixture namkeen packet includes beef oil.

Digital Desk: A video of a news reporter pestering the store manager of a Haldiram's outlet for an Urdu description on the package of a namkeen mixture is going popular on social media.

In new packaging, the snack is called 'Falhari Mixture.' The namkeen's description is written in Urdu on the back, while the major text on the front is written in English. The green vegetarian sign is also prominently shown.

The Falhari Mixture from Halidram is a delicious blend of peanuts and potatoes with mild spices. It's one of Haldiram's most popular treats for individuals fasting during the nine-day Hindu festival of Navratri, which is currently underway.

It went viral on social media after a Hindi news channel posted a video of a reporter questioning a Halidram employee about the Urdu packaging on the goods.

As her cameraman captures her 'forced interview,' the reporter places a microphone in front of the manager's face. She inquires of the manager, who is also a woman, as to what Haldiram is attempting to conceal by distorting the Urdu description of the namkeen packet. The fight was witnessed by a gathering of people and a police officer.

The manager claims that the food within the packet is not a health threat as the reporter continues to shove the mic in her face and insist on her answering the questions. She then requests that the reporter exit the store.

"If you want this, you can have it; if you don't want it, you can just keep it here and go from my store," adds the manager.
