Twinkle captioned a vintage photo of herself from her childhood, "A bittersweet shared birthday...

Digital Desk: Twinkle Khanna, who turns 48 today, tweeted a throwback photo of herself with her late father, legendary Rajesh Khanna, who would have turned 80 today. Twinkle tweeted a flashback photo from her early days, captioning it, "A bittersweet shared birthday and a lifetime of memories." Bobby Deol, Twinkle Khanna's Barsaat co-star, left a couple of heart emojis in the comments section of her post. Malaika Arora also left a heart in the post's comments section. 

Rajesh Khanna, a 90s Bollywood sensation, died in July 2012.

Rajesh Khanna, who made his Bollywood debut in 1966 with Aakhri Khat, was the star of numerous popular films, including Aradhana, Anand, Kati Patang, and Safar. In 1973, he married actress Dimple Kapadia. Dimple Kapadia's debut Bollywood film Bobby, co-starring late actor Rishi Kapoor, was released the same year. The actor-politician was awarded India's highest honour the third-highest civilian honour, the Padma Bhushan.

Twinkle Khanna is a well-known columnist and the best-selling author of Pyjamas Are Forgiving, The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad, and Mrs Funnybones. Twinkle is also a film producer, an interior decorator, and the proprietor of The White Window. Her most recent project as a film producer was the National Award-winning film PadMan, starring her husband Akshay Kumar. She also owns Tweak India, a digital content company. 

On January 17, 2001, Twinkle married Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. Aarav was born on September 15, 2002, and Nitara was born on September 25, 2012.
