Digital Desk: In a tragic incident, two brothers of a family charred to death after a massive fire broke out in their home in the Kamup district of Assam on Monday night, reports stated.
The incident reportedly took place at Bahadur Ali's home in Jahirpur village, in the Goroimari locality of Kamrup, at around 2 am.
According to reports, Sajan Ali (20) and Samej Ali (22), two young people, have been identified as the deceased. Anjuara Begum, the mother of the two young people who died, was also seriously hurt in that incident.
Based on the information received, the incident is suspected to have occurred due to a short circuit.
Following their notification, the Goroimari Police and firefighters arrived at the scene and doused the raging fire.
According to reports, the police found the burnt corpses and sent them to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for post-mortem examination. Anjuara Begum, who was hurt, has also been sent to a hospital to receive care.
It's important to note that Bahadur Ali's sons were mute (silent). Tensions in the area have increased as a result of this incident.
