Digital Desk: Celebrities frequently travel by own automobile to avoid the annoyance of crowds in public transportation systems. However, we occasionally see celebrities riding in rickshaws or taking city metros to advertise their films. Hema Malini, a veteran actress, recently took the 'adventurous' choice of utilising public transport. The recognised Bollywood visage not only took a rickshaw, but also a metro.

The actress resorted to Twitter to share her story. Speaking of her decision, the singer stated that her travel to Dahisar, a Mumbai suburb, took almost 2 hours. She opted to explore the considerably speedier public transportation options because she was tired of the long travel.

"I feel compelled to share my one-of-a-kind, wonderful experience with you all." Driving 2 hours to Dahisar was exhausting! I decided to try the metro in the evening, and OMG! What a delight! True, we went through some difficult times during construction, but it was all worth it! "It was clean, fast, and I was in Juhu in half an hour," wrote Malini.

"After my metro experience, decided to go by auto from DN Nagar to Juhu & that too was fulfilled," she added in a subsequent tweet. When the auto arrived at my residence, the stunned security couldn't believe their eyes! Overall, it was a beautiful and joyful experience for me! In the metro with the general public."

"Wow, this will be eye-opening for all who oppose the metro in Mumbai," said another. Hemaji, you look very fresh and down to earth to go in the metro (sic)."
