Digital Desk: The third instalment of the popular comedy film Hera Pheri, which is one of the most loved Hindi films, is finally coming. This week in Mumbai, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal shot scenes for the threequel's promo, and a photo of them from the shoot quickly went viral online.
Kartik Aaryan's participation in Hera Pheri 3 was confirmed by Paresh Rawal on Twitter in November of last year. Akshay Kumar also disclosed in an interview that he had chosen not to participate in the threequel since he wasn't happy with the storyline. Following an intervention by Suniel Shetty and producer Firoz Nadiadwala, the original three of Babu Bhaiya, Raju, and Shaam were once again reunited.
Kartik's continued involvement in the movie was made known by Paresh Rawal in a recent interview, which he gave to Mid-Day. "As far as I'm aware, Kartik and Akshay were both supposed to be in the movie at first, but things didn't work out. I have no idea what transpired."

For the unaware, Hera Pheri, directed by Priyadarshan, was the Hindi remake of the Malayalam superhit Ramji Rao Speaking, whereas Phir Hera Pheri, directed by Neeraj Vora and released in 2006, was influenced by the Hollywood classic Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.
