New Delhi: On Saturday, the High Court questions the Center regarding four cryogenic tankers, which were under Rajasthan authorities and it was supposed to be released as per earlier orders of the court. These oxygen cylinders were supposed to be there at Delhi for the treatment of Covid patients.

A bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli asked the government to take necessary steps in bringing assurance given by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta on April 26 regarding the release of these tankers.

It has also asked the Center to take action for this order by 3rd May, 2021. The bench started a hearing during a holiday from 11:30am, Saturday.  Apart from this issue, Delhi court has also heard pleas and petitions about the shortage of oxygen supplies, hospital beds, and other medical facilities.
