A PCR call, according to sources with Delhi Police, is when you request police assistance in an emergency situation without making a complaint. "The complaint is only recorded when the complainant, in this case, Swati Maliwal, files a written report with the police station. Delhi Police is unable to file a formal complaint or file a formal police report (FIR) without receiving a written complaint."

The House of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) was adjourned without any debate earlier today due to a disturbance caused by BJP councillors against the AAP MP Swati Maliwal's alleged assault and their demands for the nomination of a "Dalit" mayor. On Monday, Delhi Police announced that they had not received any complaints regarding the alleged attack on Swati Maliwal at the Chief Minister's residence.
