Digital Desk: In a momentous event, Ayodhya was enveloped in religious fervor as the highly anticipated Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla unfolded in the sanctum sanctorum of the newly erected Ram Mandir. 

The sacred proceedings, guided by the main yajman, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, transpired during the auspicious Mool Muhurat on Monday.

Commencing at 12:20 pm and concluding around 1 pm, the ceremony drew approximately 7,000 VVIPs from diverse realms, including actors, politicians, sportspersons, and industrialists.

Before this significant occasion, PM Modi adhered to a rigorous 11-day Anushthan, involving austere practices like sleeping on the floor and sustaining on coconut water.

In preparation, the Prime Minister embarked on a spiritual journey, visiting temples across India and partaking in a purifying dip at the Rameswaram 'Angi theerth' beach. Following the ceremony, PM Modi is scheduled to address the public in Ayodhya around 1 pm.

Renowned vocalist Sonu Nigam contributed to the spiritual ambiance, performing excerpts from the Ramcharitmanas, earning acclaim for renditions like 'Raghukul reet sada chali aayi.'
His performance resonated with the saints, who applauded in rhythmic unison, culminating in the powerful chant, Jai Shri Ram.

Anuradha Paudwal and Shankar Mahadevan further elevated the atmosphere with their soul-stirring spiritual performances, adding a melodious dimension to this historic occasion.
