Bikas Deka and Urmila Brahma used to be lovers earlier.
Digital Desk: Oct 18, 2024 Friday night a horrendous incident took place in the Hatigaon area of Guwahati. 21 years old Urmila Brahma a resident of Abahan Path, Hatigaon was reportedly attacked by Bikas Deka a resident of Baihata Chariali. Currently, Miss Brahma is undergoing medical support at Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH).
Bikas Deka and Urmila Brahma used to be lovers earlier. After the relationship came to an end things took a brutal turn. Apparently, ex-boyfriend Bikas has acted out of jealousy over her new supposed relationship with another individual. The incident took place at night around 9 pm according to neighbors she went out to purchase some groceries and while walking back to her rented room, Bikas took the chance of the dark, empty lane and attacked her in the neck and abdomen area and fled the crime scene.
Fortunately, she didn't succumb to her injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital. Allegedly, Bikas tried hiding at his friend Amal Borpujari's place on Bishnujyoti Road when the rest of the family was out of town.
