Digital Desk: Seven students from the Srimanta Sankar Mission Blind School in Barhampur, Assam's Nagaon district, highlighted the school's status after successfully passing the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) class 10 exams.

For the HSLC exam 2023, a total of seven students attended. The students, Bindu Gowala, Rijumoni Ali, Biman Patar, Junmoni Saikia, Doibaki Kisku, and Ekadashi Mandal, achieved first division with letter grades in the English subject despite overcoming physical difficulties.

A different student, Bhaskarjyoti Sharma, received a first division.

According to accounts, the kids lacked the books needed to study for the tests. Recordings of study materials were played for them. In this way, they rose to the occasion and made progress toward fulfilling their goals.

Through their achievements, the students have elevated the reputation of the entire Barhampur region. After today's results announcement, the whole student body, faculty, and community are ecstatic.

In Assam, the results of the HSLC 2023 examination were released on Monday. Of note, male applicants obtained a total pass percentage of 74.71%, while female candidates obtained a total pass percentage of 70.96%.

The pass rate for candidates from Scheduled Tribes-Plains is 75.69 percent, indicating that they performed exceptionally well. A total of 58,332 ST(P) category candidates applied to sit for the board.
