"I am mentally disturbed," Dikshu Sharma on online trading scam

Digital Desk: Assam's celebrated singer Dikshu Sharma took to social media on Saturday, September 7, to share his grief over a recent rumor against him in connection with the online trading scam. Sharma shared a video requesting the public to trust him and not to share any rumors or false accusations against him.

Through social media Dikshu Sharma said, "I am very much hurt and mentally disturbed and weakened after hearing about all the false news against me. I have been working in the industry for 20 years honestly, and dedicatedly, and you all have faith and trust in me. I request you all to keep your trust in me. I have never been involved with any illegal work, nor will I. Also, there is a rumor about my property, car, or gifts from others. Regarding this I want to say, whatever I have owned, I owned them with my earnings. I took loans to buy a home and car. I am also a victim. I have not done any illegal work, instead, my cooperation will always be with the investigation team."

Earlier, in the wake of Bishal Phukan's arrest in an investment scam, Assamese singer Dikshu Sharma's name has emerged in connection with the couple Sumi Bora and Tarkik Bora. Dikshu shared insights on Sumi Bora's stay at his home. The Guwahati Police visited Sharma's home earlier. this visit followed confirmation that the duo had recently visited Sharma's home before their disappearance.
