Guwahati: Newly joined Trinamool Congress member Sushmita Dev addressing the media on Tuesday asserted that West Bengal's Chief Minister's ideology inspires her.
In the Press meet, Sushmita Dev was accompanied by TMC leader Derek O'Brien.
Further, Sushmita Dev said to the media that Mamata Banerjee's philosophy, Vision and courage had inspired her.
Sushmita stressing about Sonia Gandhi said she hopes Indian National Congress (INC) President Sonia Gandhi's blessings stay with her.
In reply to a question, Sushmita said, "The resignation letter cited the reason of leaving the Congress party."
Moreover, Sushmita said her relationship with Mamata Banerjee is from the days of her father.
"I didn't join TMC over some condition and I didn't compromise with my ideology." said Sushmita Dev.
Sushmita Dev added, "I would not criticize the Congress party in my life as it has given me a lot."
Reportedly, on August 20, Sonia Gandhi has arranged an opposition meeting where West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also be present.
