Digital Desk: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) anticipated moderate rain in isolated portions of Arunachal Pradesh over the next 24 hours, but dry weather in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.

The IMD has also issued a severe fog warning for six Northeastern states, namely Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, until December 31, 2023.

As per Local Forecast, In Guwahati and adjacent regions, the IMD predicted precipitation or mist in the morning and mostly clear skies later.

Visibility of more than 500 metres is described as shallow fog. 
In moderate fog, visibility ranges between 200 and 500 metres. 
Dense fog occurs when visibility is limited to 50 to 200 metres.



Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 26°C and 13°C, respectively, in the next 24 hours, according to the Met Office.
