Desk: Two little sisters tragically drowned in a pond on Sunday in the Darrang
district of Assam.
The
incident took place when the two went to the pond in the Simamuria
Bhakatpara region to go fishing.

and Silsina Marak, two minor girls, have been identified as the deceased.
Both of the bodies were found in the pond after the tragedy.
Further
investigation into the matter is underway and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
