New Delhi: As per the latest report from the health department, India has reported around 18,166 new coronavirus cases during the last 24 hours. This has been reported to be the lowest single-day climb in cases in almost last seven months.
The number of active cases at the moment is around 2,30,971.
The daily COVID positivity rate identified per 100 stands at 1.42 per cent.

In terms of deaths, 214 further deaths have been reported. This takes the total COVID-related deaths in the country to 4.5 lakhs.
However, the current recovery rate is 97.99 per cent.
Reportedly, in the last 24 hours around 3.23 million people have also been fully vaccinated.
